The HYMER B-Class ModernComfort is the perfect outcome from the successful partnership between Mercedes-Benz and HYMER. The vehicles of the ModernComfort series are the first motorhomes in which a specially developed chassis tractor head from the new Mercedes Benz Sprinter is merged with a chassis made by a motorhome manufacturer. Thanks to a combination of the award-winning HYMER SLC chassis, the renowned PUAL technology and the GRP lightweight floor, this new generation of motorhomes combines an especially light and stable body with improved safety and driving comfort.

A recess in the rear wall of the washroom allows a 32-inch LED TV to be harmoniously incorporated into the overall design of the ModernComfort 580’s living area, ensuring an excellent viewing experience from the driver’s and passenger’s seat and even a “fireplace feeling” if desired.

The optional MBUX multimedia system with 10.25-inch touch screen includes a high-definition display and a wide range of communication and infotainment features. It also features a responsive hard drive navigation system with a clear 3D map. The image from the rear view camera is also displayed.

The modern, linear interior design with strict lines and slightly angled furniture permits a clear view from the front to the rear of the vehicle without interfering contours.

As an alternative to the couch opposite the seating area, a practical multifunctional sideboard is also an option which provides seating, a shoe and multimedia compartment and integrated power sockets and USB ports.

Modern, fresh and chic

The interior of the HYMER B-Class ModernComfort I boasts an incredibly open and generous sense of space. Plinth lighting and a slightly angled furniture arrangement provide a pleasant atmosphere and good visibility in the vehicle.

A loading compartment that can be easily accessed from both outside and inside the vehicle provides storage space of minimum 167 litres.

Numerous cellar compartments inside the double floor significantly increase the storage space in the HYMER B-Class ModernComfort.

At 36 centimetres in height, the spacious double floor of the HYMER SLC chassis provides room for all the necessary technical components, such as plumbing, electrics and heating, as well as the fresh and waste water tank, all of which are optimally protected and insulated against the elements.

Your holiday attire can be stored neatly and tidily in the floor-to-ceiling wardrobe, which includes clothes rails and shelf space.

A generous wardrobe is located on both sides under the twin beds in the rear of the vehicle. The wardrobe can be easily accessed either via a door or the bed end that can be folded up

On one side, the wardrobe includes a clothes rail on which garments can be hung cleanly and neatly on hangers. The opposite wardrobe is equipped with a shelf to help keep everything neat and organised.

No space is wasted – there is even additional storage space under the extension for the twin bed in the form of a small cabinet equipped with shelves

The doors of the overhead lockers at the foot of the twin beds can be opened extra wide to provide better access and visibility.

A smart storage concept thanks to the HYMER SLC chassis

Crowned with the European Innovation Award, the HYMER SLC chassis features a particularly spacious double floor in which all technical components are accommodated, such as plumbing, electrics and heating.

Good news for taller travellers: the twin beds in the 580 layout are available in a length of 215 cm in addition to the traditional size of 192 cm by 86 cm. This represents an extraordinary feature in a vehicle with an overall length of less than seven metres. The generous overhead lockers at the head end of the rear beds offer ample space for clothes, towels, bed linen and reading material. The reading lamps let you bring some light into the darkness and can be controlled individually.

A particular highlight is the optional additional trapezoidal cushion with storage shelf, which can be removed and inserted exactly into the gap between the mattresses. That way the single beds can be turned readily into a large, comfy sleeping oasis for two.

Thanks to a range of optional extras, the HYMER B-Class ModernComfort can be tailored to suit the customer’s wishes. For example, the twin beds in the 580 layout are available at a length of 2.15 metres. The standard clear glass roof vent brings light and fresh air into the sleeping area.

Wide, non-slip steps allow a safe ascent to the twin beds in the rear. Additional storage space is provided under the steps to maximise the use of space inside the vehicle.

A practical utensil bag in the head area between the twin beds lets you keep your bedtime reading close at hand.

A second LED TV with integrated speakers and a DVD-player can be ordered as an option for the sleeping area. The position is chosen for optimum viewing without disturbing the foot area

The standard fold-down bed above the cab seating provides a sleeping area of 194 x 145 cm with generous headroom. It is optionally available as a version that converts into single beds and includes the Hymer sleep system.

Unlimited space for dreaming

The HYMER B-Class ModernComfort provides flexible sleeping comfort that is very difficult to find in motorhomes under 7.5 m in length.

The elegant kitchen offers plenty of storage space for cookware and provisions thanks to a large overhead locker and extra-wide drawers. The kitchen drawers also close gently and quietly thanks to Servo soft-touch closing mechanisms.

Even if the sink and cooker are in use, the extended worktop provides extra room in which to work. The standard rubbish bin inside the kitchen drawer can be hung on the outside of the drawer when needed to allow easy access. The practical suspension strip on the side of the refrigerator enables the coat hooks to be flexibly arranged as required.

In the corner kitchen layouts of the B-Class ModernComfort, the optimised ergonomic kitchen makes it easy to work in a compact radius. The 3-burner cooker with front operation is offset to the rear, creating a large work surface in front of it.

The spacious kitchen drawers and a large overhead locker over the kitchen area provide ample storage space for pots, pans and crockery.

Something to savour

Take simple elegance and a clever concept of space and then add a good amount of storage space and a worktop extension that turns into a large work surface for when the cooker and sink are in use.

The comfort bathroom in the HYMER B-Class ModernComfort is separated into two visually distinct areas. One side contains the spacious shower with 1.94-metres of headroom, the other the bench toilet plus integrated washbasin and side shelf

Lashing straps in the bathroom cabinet allow numerous bathroom accessories to be clearly arranged and safely stored. An elevated storage compartment provides space for shampoo bottles, hair spray cans and the like.

The bathroom cabinets are embedded in the wall to create a modern, linear look.

An additional bathroom cabinet is integrated into the slightly sloping wall to the right of the bathroom door – it is also equipped with tensioning straps to keep the contents secure.

There is even a built-in storage compartment for bathroom reading material in the wall next to the bench toilet.

Before leaving the vehicle, you can quickly check your outfit one last time in the floor-to-ceiling mirror mounted on the inside of the bathroom door. The various clothes hooks around the bathroom mean your towels, dressing gowns and the like are always in their proper place.

A strip light integrated into the shower ensures pleasant lighting in the bathroom of the HYMER B-Class ModernComfort.

The spacious en-suite bathroom in the HYMER B-Class ModernComfort features a comfortable swivel toilet, a high-quality washbasin and an array of storage options for your bathroom accessories.

Measuring 77 x 73 cm and a standing height of up to 194 cm, the separate shower in the spacious en-suite bathroom provides a generous amount of space to ensure you never feel cramped.
